Events

Come check out the Silent Noise table at these events:

Silent Noise was able to sponsor a tree for the annual Griffith Christmas Tree Walk. Adorned with purple and teal ribbon as well as honoring Dwight, proceeds from the donation are for Griffith Animal Shelter.

On December 9 – a group organized by Nicole and other streamers on Twitch held a charity livestream benefitting Silent Noise. They raised over $2,000. With that and other contributions in 2023, we were able to donate $1,000 for the NWI Out of the Darkness walk, $500 to Hope For The Day, and $500 to Gray Matters Collective.

Next Up! Fright Noise – The Sequel! Registration is open, walk-ups are welcome. Join us for a great event that benefits Suicide Prevention and Awareness.

Track or Treat (benefiting the Griffith Unified Sports Programs) was an amazing event. Throughout the evening we were able to provide wristbands, stickers, and, of course, candy to over 450 track or treaters!

We will be at the Griffith Track or Treat event on Wednesday, October 13. Stop by, trick or treat! There will be many tables there with candy for the little (and not so little) ones. It’s a great event that benefits the Griffith High School Unified Sports Programs. We will have information on Fright Noise – The Sequel plus, of course, candy and other handouts.

Next up! We will have a Fright Noise table at the Out of The Darkness walk at Wicker Park on Saturday, September 30. Stop by, say hello, walk in memory or for yourself!

BIG NEWS! We have been approved to have a booth at the fourth annual Harvest Fest! Two days of fantastic music headlined by Joe Marcinek and Funkinetic, sets by Nasty Snacks and Fresh Hops. Many others playing both days. Dates are September 22nd and 23rd. For info, go to: Harvest Fest 2023

Still have a couple of other events in the hopper – waiting on approval!

Griffith Central Market – Every Friday evening, with the exception of Rock N Rail Festival Weekend – Central Market is a fantastic weekly event in the town. Many food and other vendors plus an evening of music from various bands.

Rockopelli Music Festival – an annual event that highlights recipients of the Playpelli music scholarship recipients. Food vendors and tabling from other groups. All proceeds benefit the Rockopelli music scholarships. For the first time the event is ticketed this year – $15 to hear a great afternoon and evening of music headlined by PinkTalkingFish and the Freddy Jones Band. August 12 at Bulldog Park in Crown Point.

The highlight of the Silent Noise year – Fright Noise 0.5k “Run” – October 29, 2023 – New Oberpfalz Brewing.
